This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the website of Miova Kreatif ve Dijital Teknolojiler San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Miova”), what they are used for and how you can manage your preferences. For details on the personal data processed through cookies, see our Privacy Notice.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way and also stores information in your browser. In this policy we refer to both as “cookies and similar technologies”.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie preferences. They cannot be switched off and do not depend on your consent.

• cc_cookie (Miova): stores your cookie preferences and when you gave them. Duration: 6 months.
• __cf_bm (Cloudflare): may be set when needed to protect the site from automated traffic and abuse. Duration: 30 minutes.

Analytics cookies

These run only if you choose “Accept all” or turn analytics cookies on in your preferences. They help us measure how you use the site through information such as the pages visited, where the visit came from, device type and approximate location (country/city).

• _ga (Google Analytics): stores a random ID to tell visitors apart. Duration: 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): stores session information. Duration: 2 years.
• mp_<ID>_mixpanel (Mixpanel): stores a random ID to tell visitors apart and where the visit came from. Duration: 1 year.
• _clck (Microsoft Clarity): stores a random ID to connect page views from the same visitor. Duration: 1 year.
• _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): connects several page views into a single session recording. Duration: 1 day.

We load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager and use Google Consent Mode. Analytics cookies are not set until you consent; until then, limited signals that contain no cookies and do not identify you may be sent to Google. The ad personalisation permission is always off. The ad storage and ad user data permissions are turned on only if you consent to LinkedIn under marketing cookies; they let the LinkedIn Insight Tag run, and our site has no Google advertising tags.

Mixpanel measures page views and interactions such as form submissions, file downloads, games and blog votes; your name, email address and form contents are not sent. Until you consent, it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser; it only tells you apart for the duration of that page visit. When you consent, the mp_* cookie is set.

Microsoft Clarity also runs without cookies until you consent; each page visit then counts as a separate session, and Clarity keeps only a session value (_cltk) in your browser’s session storage while the tab is open. When you consent, the _clck and _clsk cookies are set. Clarity shows clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on a page as heatmaps and session recordings; what you type into the contact and application forms is masked and not recorded. Clarity may also set third-party cookies such as MUID and CLID on Microsoft’s own domain (clarity.ms); you can delete these in your browser settings.

Marketing cookies

These run only if you choose “Accept all” or turn marketing cookies on in your preferences. They help us measure the visits our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn ads bring to the site and results such as sending the contact form or an application or clicking a contact link, and show our ads to people who may be interested.

• _fbp (Meta): stores a random ID that tells your browser apart for ad measurement. Duration: 3 months.
• _fbc (Meta): stores the ad click if you came to the site from a Meta ad. Duration: 3 months.
• li_fat_id (LinkedIn): stores the ad click for conversion measurement if you came to the site from a LinkedIn ad. Duration: 30 days.
• li_giant (LinkedIn): links your visit to a group that does not contain your identity, for conversion measurement. Duration: 7 days.

Unlike the analytics services, Meta Pixel has no cookieless mode: until you consent it does not load at all and nothing is sent to Meta. Your name, email address, phone number and form contents are not sent to Meta. Meta may also set third-party cookies such as fr on its own domains (facebook.com); you can manage these in your browser settings or in your ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag also has no cookieless mode and follows the same rule: until you consent it does not load at all and nothing is sent to LinkedIn; your name, email address, phone number and form contents are not sent. LinkedIn may also set third-party cookies such as bcookie, lidc and UserMatchHistory on its own domain (linkedin.com); you can manage these in your browser settings or in your ad preferences on LinkedIn.

Local storage

The following information is created in your browser only when you use the related feature and is needed for that feature to work. Unless stated otherwise, it is not sent to us.

• Games: the nickname you choose, your best score, and your sound and difficulty preferences. When you finish a game, your nickname and score are sent to us for the leaderboard; game records that could not be sent because of a connection problem wait in your browser for up to 7 days.
• Multiplayer rooms: a room key so you can reconnect to a room. It is deleted when you close the tab.
• Blog feedback: your votes and a randomly generated visitor ID. When you vote, this ID is sent to us in a one-way transformed form.
• Game announcement: a date so the announcement window is not shown again for 7 days after you close it, and your music preference.

Live cursors and emoji reactions do not use cookies or local storage.

Managing your preferences

• You can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page.
• In the preferences window you can switch analytics and marketing cookies on or off as a category or for the Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag services individually; the list of cookies in each category is also shown there.
• When you withdraw consent, analytics measurement goes back to cookieless mode, Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag stop, and the Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity, Meta and LinkedIn cookies set through our site are deleted from your browser.
• You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, your preferences will not be remembered and the cookie window will appear on every visit.
• To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
